One question that has intrigued me for most of my life..

Why do you eat?

Surely we don’t all eat just to survive..?

Some indulge, few savor, and others just fill up.

I’ve eaten for energy, health, pleasure, comfort and convenience.
Cooking has taught me that these motives can all work together.

Each of us has a unique relationship to food.

I never know how the food I cook will be consumed. It’s out of my hands, and that’s freeing.

My job is to enjoy the process of creating. Which I find peaceful and therapeutic.

I believe the state we are in when we make food is transferred in some way to the eater.

I love to cook.
So I guess I cook to love.
